Ortisei will offer you plenty of activities to do and sights to discover. From skiing to sleddin, from walking to climbing: there is something for anybody at any given weather condition!
The Garni Toni is located in a strategic position very close to downtown Ortisei. From our hotel, you can put your skis on and ski to the two ski lifts Palmer and Furdenan, which will bring you to the cablecar of the Alpe di Siusi. In only five minutes of walking, you can reach the Seceda cablecar, which connects you to the famous Sellaronda.
The Garni Toni is not only ideal for sporty people: If you want to relax and detach from your daily routines, this is the perfect place for you, as you will find a peaceful and quiet ambiente. You will also have a close walking distance to the downtown of Ortisei, which is a great place to have a walk and do some shopping or dining. From the Garni Toni, you will never need a car to go downtown or go to the next bus station.
Winter
With access to more than 1.250 km of skiing slopes, the Sellaronda is a true hotspot for skiing lovers. From the Garni Toni, you can walk to the Seceda cablecar, which connects you to the skiing slopes of the Sellaronda. Also, you can take the Skibus from the close-by bus station and go to Selva, where you can ski down the famous Saslong worldcup slope. At the Garni Toni, everything is ready for your perfect winter holiday!
If you like sport, there are countless hiking or climbing paths waiting for you. The Unesco World Heritage site Val Gardena is world famous for the astonishing panoramas and the beautiful trails. Also mountainbiking is very popular in Val Gardena, as most cablecars also allow transport with the mountainbike and e-bikes can be rented downtown. This gives you access to numerous peaks and great adventures. If you would like to take it easy during your holiday, you can enjoy downtown Ortisei or do an easy walk in Val d’Anna, where you can have a nice lunch in the woods.
Summer
Ortisei è raggiungibile dalla A22 (Autostrada del Brennero) passando per Bolzano (uscita “Chiusa”, direzione “Val Gardena”), in circa 20 minuti.
In treno potrete raggiungere comodamente la vostra destinazione affidandovi ai servizi Freccia Rossa su Bolzano, o ai treni di Ferrovie dello Stato fino a Ponte Gardena, dal quale potrete raggiungere Ortisei con una corriera in servizio ogni ora.
